David, good morning.
I’m attaching the revised version of the Draft I sent on 8/10. My
“reader” caught a couple of things that I’d prefer you have not seen!
Like bubble bees instead of bumble bees! And footnote #2 appearing
before #1. 🙁 Plus I have tweaked the copy a little.
So here it is. Still a Draft, with a shorter title…Unfolding History
of Veterans Air Express_DRAFT 2.doc
Hope all is well.
By the way, I’ve recently had a delightful email exchange with William
Patrick Dean. What a kick!
Ciao for now,

Hi Gaye,
I quickly looked over the first few paragraphs of your original
submission and I like it. You write the way you talk… like you are
having a conversation with, or telling a story to, the reader. And that
is very good!
I have two big projects on my plate right now, so feel free to continue
polishing if you like. I probably won’t get into working with your story
until September. In the meantime, consider which photos and images that
you’d like to populate the article with.
BTW, I let Julie Takata know that you may be contacting her about the
Matson material.
Happy Thursday,
David
