Invited in 2019 by AIRWAYS Magazine History Editor, David H. Stringer, to think about telling the story…
The first very rough drafts were reviewed in July and August, 2019. Then, Covid obstructed our progress on several fronts. However, David Stringer and I were both born tenacious, so here is the story, published in March 2023.
As you will read, the story begins in May, 1945, with a 22-year old, also tenacious, WWII Veteran. Read all about it.
