It looks like you hooked up with Embry Riddle …. That is my Alma Mater
– I was there between furloughs at Zantop ..1970-75 Senator – Social
Functions; Sigma Chi, etc., After my 4.5 year USMC experience, it was
Miami-Dade Junior College and University of Tennessee … finally got
all my airman’s certificates and started with commuter airlines and
moved to the big iron DC-6’s at Zantop Airlines (VERY non-sked and where
I flew with George Cannock of VAL) and on my annual layoffs from flying
auto parts at Zantop finished up at Embry Riddle with a BS in
Aeronautical Science. Hawaiian Air came about with a cargo contract
they had using Zantop’s Electras … I was typed in the Electra and
hello Hawaiian’s seniority list.
I would expect your project right in ERAU’s wheelhouse and a source for
research help, manpower, and creative ideas …. students will be
stoked. Have fun with it!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!
