Site Guide. Navigating the Website.
This is a research website. By its very nature, new information is uncovered randomly. It may cover decades, plus more than one topic. Inserting those findings in between existing stories [Posts] does not always connect chronologically or in true sequence.
So, the red and gray Nav Bars you see above are designed so you can “gather” pieces of the puzzle according to your interests. The Bars are ‘sticky’ and do not scroll when you scroll – they “follow you” everywhere. HOME, ABOUT, CONTACT, SITE GUIDE, SITEMAP and Search here… disappear between the two Nav Bars when you begin scrolling down the page.
A FEW THINGS & TERMINOLOGIES
- If you slowly SCROLL top-to-bottom on the HOME page, it can be helpful as an overview to this multifaceted Veterans Air story.
- The term “gathering” refers to all the relevant Post Thumbnails that immediately line up for review when you select a Topic or Subject listed on the red or gray Nav Bars.
- Most Post Thumbnails have an image, title, date & partial intro. They can open a level deeper into the full Post for more information.
- You will experience that “gatherings” often include Post Thumbnails you have seen elsewhere. Since so many Posts fit more than one part of the story, their second or third appearance in different Posts helps you fit the puzzle pieces into the Story.
- Chronological Order has two time frames in this Story. 1945 thru 1948 covers Veterans Air Express founding, operation & bankruptcy plea and 2015 thru 2026 takes you through a Research span from mere curiosity to the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Archives Collection: Veterans Air Express, The Unfolding Story of a 1945 Non-Sked Air Carrier.

The varying FONT SIZES and (#) in parenthesis indicate the number of times the Person or Subject appears on the website.
For example, at the time of this writing, clicking into Borden Company would reveal three (3) posts on that subject, while Broughton Family would present you with seven (7) posts.
