The unfolding story of Veterans Air – researched since April 2015 – is published in 106 Posts/Stories on this website. As the Researcher, I never anticipated such depth, and certainly never expected any face-to-face meet-and-greets.  So, I also never considered the formality of FOOTNOTES – until it became a rather vast necessity.

ABOUT a 1945 Non-sked cargo/passenger air line

This Site is a research & cataloging tool.  It’s a place to log discoveries about Veterans Air Line and Veterans Air Express — referred to collectively for convenience as Veterans Air.

A highly critical part of The Research is finding the people who were involved in founding, getting airborne, maintaining, and day-to-day operations of Veterans Air from mid-1945 through 1947.  Since the inception was in 1945, equally important is discovering and communicating with the families, friends or associates of the founding members, crews, ex-employees, vendors, etc.  That is the scope.
